Neptune Apex Full Automation for 34 Gallon Reef Tank Build
Hi All,
Setting up a new s/w tank, Solana 34g - 20" cube, with the Neptune Apex Controller (Version with Temperature and Standard Grade pH Probes). Planning to maximize automation and safeties using this controller. Below is checklist of what I am planning to control: Energy Bar 8 - Power Strip #1: Skimmer Heater Return pump ATO pump ATO sump float switch #1 ATO sump float switch #2 Vortech mp10w Kessil a360w-e Energy Bar 8 - Power Strip #2: Dosing pump 1 Dosing pump 2 Cabinet fan(s) Cooling fan(s) Fuge light Breakout Box: Leak detector(s) ATO reservoir float switch Remote switch - feed mode Remote switch - demo mode* *kessil/vortech light/wave show I have most of the components (i.e. spent a lot of $$), and will be putting things together (i.e. a lot more time and more $$ spent). I've also almost finished with the stands, yes, there's actually 2 stands. 1 for the display and another that is small and abuts the display to hold the sump (20 gallon DIY sump). I'll post pictures of this stand build as well as my progressing putting all of this together. This is just an initial post, but open to any suggestions on how to best put this all together as well as any additional automation ideas. I'll probably be more of a techno reefer than a fishy/coral reefer. Check back as I start my build!! |
