If i run an Aqueon sump w/o filter socks Will it be loud?

I bought a new 75 to drill for bean animal and install a model 3 Aqueon sump . this Will replace my current 75. i do not want to be washing socks every couple days so would run sockless . Will that make it loud? Noise is a big concern.

Not if you extend the drain lines to below the surface in your sump.
There will be some noise, but not much.

Anyone with an aqueon sump that has run it sockless? These sump have a design that gets rid of the rubles in the first chamber.

Like I said, if you extend the drain below the water line in the sump so that the water isn't dropping 6-10" before it hits the water in the sump it will be pretty quiet.
