Dual External DC pumps to replace Reeflo Hammerhead?

Right now I am running a Reeflo Hammerhead return pump, it is choked about 10% and then hits a T then a 90 on each end. And it is about 2 meters (6') from the pump to the T.

I have no idea what that translates to for flow. But has to be at least 3000gph into the tank.

I feel that this is a good amount of flow.

But this pump is just too loud. I think a pair of DC pumps would be a much better fit. They would feed from their own pipes into the return section of my sump.
Both pumps would basically go straight up into the tank, would be 90 over the edge and then 45 down into the tank.
One pump would need the inlet piped across the tank, but that shouldn't effect much if anything right? Just up size the pipe.

Is this possible to still get the flow I want/need? What pumps should I be looking at? Looking for cost effective.

I'll need enough extra to supply my reactors too I guess.

Fluval Sea SP6 would be a fine replacement.

That's not DC though. I guess DC or not isn't a deal breaker, as long as the new pumps are quiet.

Unless you want to control the flow of the pump, there isn't much gains in DC as the Fluval pumps are just as efficient and are very quiet. As Gcarroll mention go with the SP6.

Do you know where I can find a flow chart on it? Trying to see about how many gph will be making it into the tank at my head. All the numbers seem to just be at 0 head.

Is it best to get into my tank with 1 1/4 pipe or upsize it to 2" like I have with my hammerhead?
