Overwhelmed with lighting choices
Hello everyone. My last post had me worried about my new green polyp leather coral. I'd like to announce that I moved him up and he is looking great.
But with him being so high, all my corals would have to be in the top quarter of the tank, so I have been looking at new lighting for my tank. All the choices and variety can get overwhelming for a newbie like me so I need some help. I have a 38 gallon tank (36"x12"x20"). I plan on keeping everything except SPS for now and since I am new, probably just normal, common, easy to keep corals. I also don't want the hassle of halides nor have deep enough pockets to get a high end LED system. I've been looking at the Lunar Aqualight T5 High Output, the Aqualight Dual T5 High Output, and the Wave Point T5 HO. Does anyone have any opinions on these systems? Any other recommendations? Thank you! |

I'm not too familiar with the T5 set ups you listed, but here's an LED fixture worth looking into.

this would be the one I would go with and you would be able to keep any coral, clam, or anemone.
