Pinaple sponge

I have 1 pinaple sponge growing on the base of my frogspawn coral should it be removed or left alone?

I think you'll be fine leaving it. I've never heard or seen any damage caused by them.

Happy Reefin!

Harmless (and beneficial) filter feeder.

hmmm, interesting question. As they appear to be safe, I have hundreds in my sump. Not sure if you want them all over your DT, but that is something that may or may not happen. I would just watch it. It may somehow irritate you spawn later. But all in all it is harmless.
