Help with programing Neptune Apex Lite

Can anyone help me with programing a Neptune Apex Lite with my two Radion Gen 2 lights?

I would like to have the full effects of sunrise to sunset and have the moonrise and set, but I can't program it correctly.

I have read the instructions looked on their forums, but I guess I am not as computer savy as I thought I was.

Any help would be appreciated.

Right now your Apex will not control the Radions. The only thing that you can control them other than hooking them up to a computer or using the controls on the top of the light is Ecotrch's ReefLink. Once Fusion is out of Beta testing stage and released for everyone to use you will be able to control with your Apex using the WXM module.

Thank you for the response.

I was able to get the Radions to do the moonrise and set throught the Apex but I can't get the sunrise.

What is "Fusion?"

So, I should just plug the lights into the Apex system, but use the Reeflink to control them?

If you want to purchase the Reeflink system, sure. But if you already have Vortech pumps and the WXM module for the Apex, then you might as well just wait for the Fusion roll-out (Fusion is Neptune's next-gen software. The update will be free, apparently).

In the meantime, why not just program your lights with your computer?

Do you know when the fusion will be available?

I tried to program the lights through their web site but I struggled with that also. Might have been my wifes computer that was acting up. My thought was to have the Apex run everything, but if I have to wait that is what I will do.

Thank you for your help.

Do I have to remove any programs that are in the Apex system for the lights already, or will the program from Ecosmartlive override the Apex?

My understanding is that the Apex will not currently communicate wirelessly with the Radion lights, so unless you have the Radions plugged into your Apex via a 0-10V cable, whatever you program into your lights through the EcoSmart Live application will take precedence.

To my knowledge, Neptune hasn't posted a date-certain when Fusion will be available for general download.

I have my new Radion G3 lights working just fine with my Apex. I use the WXM module and it works perfect.
I have my light running off the season table, on at sunrise and off at sunset. Even moon rise and moon set.

Again you have to have the VXM module.

Apex WILL control the Radions if you have a WXM module.

Not correct. If you have a WXM module you can control both Vortechs and Radions wirelessly.

Can you post some example of your programming including your profiles please?

If Sun 360/060 Then LED_SunDn
If Sun 120/000 Then LED_Midday
If Outlet Clouds = ON Then Cloudy
If Outlet Storms = ON Then Stormy

I then went in and set my season table based off of my current location (you don't have to do this). I also offset the time by 60 minutes, to allow more viewing time after I get home from work.

With this program if I did not offset everything lights would come on and go off the same as sunrise and sunset at my home.
