Upgrading Biocube Lighting

I am new to the saltwater hobby and figured I would start out with a Coralife 29 gallon biocube. I like the tank so far but one thing I am not impressed with is the lighting. I would like to upgrade the lighting to LED but I don't want to get stevesled, rapid led or any other kits similar to that. The reason being I plan on moving to a place with more room in the near future and would like to have a larger tank. So with that in mind I would like to be able to take the leds from the biocube and use them on my next tank. I also would like to keep the hood on the biocube if possible. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
