Please say this isn't Aiptasia

First saw this about a week ago and thought it was a fan worm. Well, it had disappeared since then and just now popped back out of the rock and it definitely isn't a fan worm. Hoping you all can tell me that it isn't aiptasia. Couldn't get a real good zoom on it because the camera wouldn't focus at all past a certain point.

Looks a lot like aptasia. I recently had my own battle, and cannot say enough about Aptasia X. Worked just as stated. One treatment, and the aptasia is dead. May have to treat the same area more than once, as once you kill the "big" one, the littler ones start poking up, but eventually they are all gone.

You should kill it quickly, before it multiplies!

so a pest either way? greeaaaat.

Thing has some reach to it. Looks like it is rooted underneath the rock and the sucker is stretched right on around the edge of it.

Just get aptasia x, put it in the mouth of the aptasia, and inject the aptasia x. So hard to put that in a way that doesn't come off inappropriate....

That's why I liked Aptasia X. You put the applicator up against a tentacle, the tentacle wraps around it and pulls it towards its mouth. You then push the plunger so the aptasia covers the mouth, it sucks it in, and implodes...

hopefully it's the only one and it doesn't want to reproduce before I can treat it tomorrow (will unfortunately be over another 24 hrs before I'll be able to take care of the thing).
