Modifying Aquamana AQ 55 x 3w led dimmer to work with Reefkeeper elite
Hi everyone,
This is my first post here. But for the past few weeks, since I started with the new hobby of reef aquariums, I've been referring to posts on this forum a lot, and it has been very helpful. Thanks all! I've purchased two units of Aquamana AQ 55x3w led for my 150 gallon, 5 feet reef aquarium which is going through initial cycling. Each of these units have 2 dimming switches (one for whites and the other for blues). I've also purchased a reefkeeper elite with ALM. I was wondering, since the led units already have dimming feature with a switch, if it is possible to modify the dim switch on the led units to work with reef keeper without having to use separate led drivers? Would really appreciate any response. Especially input from someone who have worked with reefkeeper and similarl dimmable LEDs. Please help Cheers |
