spots on tang...

hey guys i have a powder tang. and over the last couple of days he has developed a couple of weird spots on its side. The tang its self seems healthy he eats a bunch of sea weed every day and mysis shrimp. i had him in a qt tank to start as were all of my fish. is it possible he is getting scraped up on the rocks? my concern is the 3 white spots on the side!

those don't really look like much. I wouldnt worry about them, but keep them under observation to see if they change. I imagine they'll go away in time.

Look for a vitamin soak like selcon. Selcon reverses HLLE which is common in tangs. It could be a scrap too, but some extra nutrients wont hurt.
