Reef Rookie
Brand new to reefing...I have recently converted my 125 gal freshwater tank into saltwater. The tank is in the second week of its cycle and all seems to be running smoothly as far as the cycle goes. I have done tons of research on this project through reading threads on RC. My LFS also specializes in reef tanks and the staff there have tons of experience from A to Z so I'm confident I'm in good hands. I knew what I was getting into and have learned a ton about marine tanks since I started this endeavor. I've been testing for the basic four so far, PH, Ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates and can see the different stages coming and going. I'm having full bloom diatom right now. I make my own RODI water and I'm equip with an auto top off system to keep the tank that much more stable. I know the key to this hobby is patience. Just wanted to introduce myself to the RC community.....
