Pods and Water Pumps

I have been doing the research for a while now. Everything I have read said that pods will, will not, and everything in between get chewed up by the impeller of the water pump. I am wondering, has anyone tried this in a diaphragm water pump? If so, does this work?

i have a considerable ammount of pods in my fuge and my best guess estimate is 80% die traveling thru the impeller but all these pods still get eaten by fish and corals although my mandrin goby wont eat them and i have been watching this with the amphiipods i can visually see. i feed my fuge a good amount of green water as well

Pods travel through pumps into display no problem.
I don't do anything special to provide pods to my mated pair of mandarins I've had a few years now, both fat and happy, they are eating plenty of pods.

I am wondering because I am planning on starting my own store and want the fish to be naturally fed. Since there will not be a CUC in every tank, I figured the more that arrive alive, the less will be on the bottom to raise ammonia levels. I have this done on my tank at home, but the drain is gravity fed into the tank. It is not as easy at a store level. It can be done, I am just thinking of something that I wouldn't have to use a ladder to reach.
