UV Sterilizer how long do you run yours?
I have a 220 g and 75 g sump and just rebuild a used 40w aqua ultraviolet uv light. I had a much smaller 15 watt on my 120 that ran All the time but not sure I should run this beast 24/7? ( powered by a new hydor L40 appx 740 gph)
Thoughts?

I would appreciate any feedback im worried if i run too long im going to do more harm than good.

I only run mine 8 hours a day, and the bulbs last for one year.
