AI Hydra light setup
Hey guys im starting to kinda get confued with how to setup this light.
Id like to have the photoperiod 7am-8pm and the night totally dark. If possible id like the blue light to start right around 7 and slowly move into white within a couple hours. Then it would ramp up at around 1-2 (right now its 4) and slowly fall back down until 8-9 after that it will shutoff. I also want to limit the intensity to 40% (right now it goes up to 80 during ramp and its more than i need) |

with Director you have total control over light and could do as described. What controller as you using?

In the setup menu, pick the easy setup
Pick the time for start up and and of your photoperiod Then pick the ramp time (moves in hour and I think 5/10 min intervals) then you can pick which light to emphasize Then you set the max intensities for each light/LED. Set your daytime intensities and then set your nighttime intensities (for example, I have my UV at 1 and Blue at 3%) Then exit You can then opt to set the lunar cycle or just keep it constant HTH |

Thanks guys i forgot to post but i did find it and limited all to 50%
Should i increase uv (40% max) because i had one clownfish die a few weeks after getting it because of a swim bladder infection (almost certain) and my copperband butterfly who seemed happy now is starting to act weird (ie. float vertically upside down and drift.....occasionally he flips over and swims a little but then flips upside down again) I also have a minor ick problem with my tang but the neon wrasse is very active in cleaning him and all the other fish |
