Advantages of Marine pure instead of liverock?

Hey Guys,
Just wanted your opinion on filtration. I'm upgrading my fluval HOB filter to a custom made filter thats fits into the unit behind the tank. Im still tossing between adding live rock or Marinepure to this new filtration system.
Im thinking of having either of these combinations:
1. Marinepure, polyfilter and seachem carbon
2. Live rock rubble, polyfilter and seachem carbon
or
3. Liverock, denitrate, polyfilter and seachem carbon.
4. Ditch the liverock and have just denitrate, polyfilter and carbon

What do you think?
comments on marine pure?
Also, what is the bexst way to go about transferring to this new system without shocking the tank?

comments?

Marine Pure is basically glass, so I guess you would not have the issue of it's surface absorbing phosphate like calcium carbonate/ aragonite ones would...
