Question calibrating apex ph probe

When I put the probe in 7 solution the numbers keep falling within 1 minute of each other took nearly 8 minutes until I said enough. When the probe is in the 10 solution the numbers never changed gave it 3 minutes then removed the probe. Once calibration finished I tested by putting probe back in the 7 solution it took nearly 2 minutes to reach 7.0 and in the 10 solution the reading 10 was nearly instant. Is there anything wrong with this new probe?
