Foxface Mysterious Death
Hey everyone. Been awhile since we posted. This morning Jen noticed our foxface was stuck to the powerhead, dead.
We've had him 9 years and he was a very healthy fish. He got along with his tankmates, ate like a pig and had some meat on him. The last few days we noticed he looked on the skinny side and had a bunch of air bubbles on both sides of his body. We dont know his exact age, he was very small when we got him. We think he might have been around 10. My question is was he at the end if his lifespan?

Unfortunately no. They came so fast and he went even faster. It was like he spent the last nine years healthy and happy, was fat, ate last night then was gone this morning. If it was old age thats fine but we have a yellow tang, powder blue and clarki clown all of which are the same age as him. Not to mention two extremely large anemones.

After doing some reading from various site it seems like the lifespan on these guys is 5+ years. So he made it to 9.
