eshopps psk100?
I have a eshopps psk 100 Skimmer and it has been running for a week. But this thing is pouring lots of bubbles out the return end! There's no sponge and adjusting the water level doesn't do anything. Is this normal?

I have the PSK 150. It lets some bubbles through for me, but not a ton. How deep is it in the water?
If you have it in a sump with a bubble trap, it shouldn't be an issue anyway. |

Its in the sump and I'd have to measure the depth. Its not hurting anything for sure. Still a great Skimmer with good skim! There's just a good many bubbles in the sump.

I have the PSK 75. It had some bubbles coming out the return at first but it was easily fixed by running it in 10+ inches of water. Now there's barely any. Overall this skimmer is doing great.

I just put a new PSK100 in my sump. 9" of water. So far (3 days later) it's only skimmed out about 1/4 of the collection cup of antifreeze colored liquid. Still can't seem to get it adjusted right. Guess I'm still in a learning curve?

These skimmers are great little skimmers for the money, especially since they have changed to the Sicce pumps. I used a foam sponge to help trap any bubbles in the sump. The foam sponge is what is used for hang on overflows.
Here are a couple of pics of my old PSK - 100 and 150 - PSK-100 PSK-150

If it has only been a week, more time is probably needed for it to break in. I have an ESHOPPS S-120 and it took 2 weeks for the micro bubbles to stop coming out. Just let it run for another week before you mess with it. This hobby takes time...

Where do you have the bubble breaking line at? I would set mine at the blue ring initially, and fine adjust from there.

I started at the bottom ring. Then adjusted to the top ring. So its just at the cup.

You need to turn the adjustment knob so the white dot is not lined up the with the other mark. That's how you adjust the water level. You should be able to easily make it overflow.

I have a psk75 in my sump and I hate it. I have to adjust it everyday and when I wake up in the morning, its overflowing. Its also very loud. I'm planning on swapping it out for a reef octopus this weekend.
