How high are your lights from the top of the tank?
i have a 120 gallon reef with 2x 250W halides. i keep mushrooms, leathers, and an assortment of LPS. How are others light grids above their tanks? Mine is 7 1/2 inches off the water with good growth. i just wonder if it would grow better at 6 inches. of course the heat issues....

mine are 12" off the water and all my corals like it.

I prefer tank mounted light to hanging them or using a canopy. Both my old 150w MHs and my new LEDs sit about 4"-5" off the rim.
