Milwaukee SmS122 Ph Controller Help!

I have this PH controller I bought from championlighting to control my c02 regulator. So I hook it up and the thing turns on when the alarm is going off. So if I set the alarm for 6.5 and under the thing wont power the solenoid until it is below 6.5. That is the exact opposite of what it should do. I searched in the forums and it looks like the monitor may need to be switched so it powers above the set point and not below. I was wondering if anyone knew how to do that.

Thanks
Paul

The website:

http://www.miltestersusa.com/

has the manual for this unit. no reference to switching the alarm mode. Maybe you should call either champion or milwaukee. Sorry

I just ordered one for freshwater CO2 injection and that sounds right for that application. On the manual for the122 it says for that model only the outlet is active when measurement is higher then selected set point.

Controller

I have the same controller on my CR and it will only power the CO2 solenoid above the set point, when the unit is in "alarm". So it runs fine, but the unit flashes the alarm light when it is functioning correctly. Weird stuff.

By the way, are you using the contorller to monitor the reactor or tank water?? Just curious.

Good question in freshwater your monitoring the water because the reactor is in the aquarium mixing with tank water. The CO2 is injected in the water for plant growth.

Paul:

One quick question? I just received my controller and and the box didn't contain any 4 and 7 pH calibration solutions how about yours.

Thanks for the advice. I called Champion and they are USELESS. I will never buy form them again. Anyways he gave me Milwaukees number and the guy there is very nice. He told me I got a reversed unit. He said 5% of the units they ship are reversed and it is special order. Somehow I got it from Champion figures.... So the guy at Milwaukee was real nice and offered to swap it out for a brand new unit. I just have to send it in. I am happy.
