JerSaint's (too small) 29G
Hi Everyone,
I already have a journal going on RC but wanted to share a bit more directly in the CTARS area. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...5#post22707845 So here we go I am running a standard 29 gallon tank with a hob filter running phosban, a Aqua C Remora Skimmer and a ZooMed T5HO lighting (1 10,000k 1 420 nM actinic). Currently no sump, I have a QT setup for fish that come into the system but lighting is suspect(Par38 screw in without good spread). So corals get dipped and rinsed then placed in the DT(haha my DT is sooo little). I will be working on this in the next few weeks. Quite a bit of my stock is from the 2014 FFM (What an AWESOME event!), with everything else from members of our club. I am super pumped to be part of such an active group of reefers with a wealth of knowledge to tap into. You guys and gals are GREAT! Parameters Salinity 1.026 pH 8.2 dKH 7* Calcium 500ppm Phosphate 0ppm !!! Thanks! I am chomping at the bit to get the 120 going but it's going to be a a while. I have to build walls and add a few breakers to my box to run a finished system and basement.

Reef tanks are like storage - amount of 'junk' accumulates to fill the available space, and then you need more storage. Same with a reef tank; no matter how big, it always ends up being too small. One of life's truly cruel ironies

Good analogy ca1ore! I think it will be interesting to handle a small footprint and have some direction with an aquascape. I am really enjoying this tank and it will be my focus for a while.

Update:
I will be making some changes soon, as space is already an issue. I picked up a 57 gallon Oceanic and a sump and I plan on moving in pretty soon, waiting on lights and some rock. Picasso Clowns ReefGen Fungia ReefGen Zoas

Thanks Jeremy I like that one. I'm going to have to see if I can connect with her sometime and get down to Waterford and get one. Question Does it hold its color when it extends itself? I've got a couple of green finger colors which are doing nicely but that means you hardly ever see their color.

The tank looks great Jeremy - you have some really great pieces in there. I can't wait until you start fragging some of them.
Kgstei - the nephthea is still quite bright even when it is all extended. Come on down and see for yourself - I have 2 big ones in my tank right now
