Sadly I found out I can't have any palys either. My utter chaos didn't make it

Confused with this statement. What's going on that palys would melt? Medium light, medium flow, stable chemistry.

It's a biocube issue we think. (New biocubes) I had the same issue with mine and sold it. I have heard of several people having the same problems with them.

Hmm, first I've heard but not that surprised.

I'm convinced it's a coralife biocube problem. Everything else in my tank is doing well. I do about a 20% water change every week. I use brightwell liquid reef as it recommends on the bottle. I have growth on pretty much all my corals besides my goniopora. All parameters seem to be in check

Just to state it, UC's can be tough, and gonis are some of the hardest. You need a stable mature reef with daily feedings of proper micron food IMO. And if they are not aquacultured, "forget about it" lol

I'm still sorta new to this hobby but I've been learning and doing tons of researching. But I know there's always more to learn no matter how much I know about the hobby lol I do use microvore, I'm not sure if that helps

I had the same issue too, as well as some other people I know with them. I tried everything I've even put cheap zoas and palys I've had growing in my other tanks and they just melt. I'm convinced it's a plastic they use in the new ones.
