Fuge light for AIO tanks
So I just got a IM 38g All in One. I am contemplating making one of the sections in the back a fuge. So I would like to get a light that hangs on the back but as I see it there are only two purpose built lights for that.
1. Innovative Marine AUQA Gadget MagnaFuge $99 Nice light that is help on by magnet, but a hundred bucks for 6 leds seems steep. 2. JBJ Nano-Glo 4-LED Refugium Light $60 Better price but only 4 leds which is not going to cover much area. So are there any other options? I want to keep the tank close to the wall, so attaching a spiral CFL behind the tank won't work. I have contemplated hanging a Finnex Fugeray-R behind the tank, I would have to work out some sort of attachment for it but my concern is this little 10" unit has 48 leds it would be overkill and with that many LED's I would worry about heat if I have it up close to the wall. SO I come to the group looking for more ideas, maybe a single 12" 8k white stunner strip??? |

I have used underwater light before for a fuge in a AIO tank. Worked great. Go to InTank site and look around.

See he carries stuff for the IM aquariums now too. Great guy, and very cool media baskets, etc. for those who don't want a DIY.

intank has some good solid stuff, I saw the underwater light but also read from users that it raised the tank temp a few degrees, especially on the smaller tanks. But for only under $20 I might give it a try.
