Carpenter wrasse sick?

Hi all got this wrasse on sunday. Its in the qt tank but since its been in it has been hiding under the rock or laying on the sand. It also seems to make a mucus around it? It ate some brine shrimp today . Is it sick or stressed?

A lot of the wrasses will lay on there sides and look sick. They will also put a mucus around them. In the wild they put the mucus around them to help cover their scent while sleeping. Give it time I am sure its stressed out from moving tanks but a good sign is that it did eat.

When I first got mine, he hid for most of 2 days. Eventually came out, and is now quite a sociable fish.
He does cover with a film at night, at usually hides behind the rock at the rear of my tank. Also, his orange color dissipates overnight with the lights off.
when I turn the lights on in the morning, it usually takes about 30 minutes for him to get up and start swimming around.
