Modified Durso opinions needed.
Do to size restrictions in the overflow of my CADlights 39g I am proposing this...
Anyone see why it should not work the same? I just can't have the cap where I would normally be due to the return lines. All help appreciated!! |

I can make it fit in its normal configuration if I make the drain shorter. If I make it shorter than I get the water fall sound in my overflow.

Should my drain into the sump be submerged or just above the water line to make the gurgle stop?

Splashing or submerged both make their own noise.
