My clown got bristled :(

So for some reason a bristle worm came out of his hiding place in my rock and was falling through the water. My fish thought he was food and my Coral Beauty, one of my gobies, and one of my clownfish all tried to eat him. I'm not sure about the other two but my clown definately got bristled. He has a patch of them in his chin. I have dosed with Seachems Stress Guard. Is there anything I should do?

I agree. Just leave it be. Fish get bristled all the time. They will dissolve on their own and the fish will learn to leave bristle worms alone.

He'll learn. Your worm is also unhappy and deserves sympathy. Both are valuable to your tank, but sometimes the fish has to figure it out: the worm has no brain to speak of. Spines dissolve and drop off after about 3 days.

The bristles are gone as far as I can tell. Not looking forward to the day when I get bristled

Indeed. If you do, wash your hands in white vinegar: it helps dissolve calcium carbonate, which is what they are, and also what that white crud is that builds up in pumps.

Nitrile exam gloves (your pharmacy) are your friend. Any time you're working in your tank, they will protect you, corals, and the worms. They're also good in the kitchen, and when working with dyes or nastiness.
