New Skimmer Setup

I'm looking to purchase new skimmer setup for my 180 gal mixed tank. Currently have a PM bullet series skimmer that is giving me a ton of micro bubbles, it's a little underrated for the tank, and I'm having issues keeping constant water level. I'm looking at purchasing the Reef Octopus DNWB-150 it's rated for 180 gal and is at a price I can live with. Around. 400 bucks, anyway I'd like any opinions on other skimmer setups that would work well for me. It needs to be external not an in sump, and around that price range I know there are better skimmers, but they're also double the price. Just looking for the best bang for my buck!
