Sexy Shrimp Missing?

I have 2 sexy shrimp in my 3 gallon nano, I set it up with a bunch of caves, ledges & bunch of other hiding places for them. Haven't had a problem with them molting, they have both gone through it in the last 3 days.
I recently found a fish store in Sacramento while I was in the area who sold them for $5 each so I purchased the single shrimp in hope that it would get along with my other 2.
Got the little guy home and started the drip. 2hrs later I added him to the tank. He found a darker spot and stared to relax.
Kept the lights off until the morning. At around midnight I came to check on him, I was able to see my pair under the xenia & the new guy was opposite side and had moved from previous spot. Now when I woke up, turned the lights on and started looking. It's 2 days now and still cant find him. I have no fish in the tank, only a small CUC. Now my question is will he turn up? Or should I start looking for a body, also if he is gone, will my CUC take care of him if I cant locate him?

Maybe it's hiding while molting. In case worse if it's dead then yes cuc will take care of the body if you can't find it. Keep an eye on ammonia but I doubt a small shrimp will make a whole lot of difference then again tank is also small so just in case.

For best care, the Sexy Anemone Shrimp should be kept in small groups and fed a varied diet of plankton and flaked, frozen, and meaty foods. It is peaceful towards members of its own species and other tankmates. The Sexy Anemone Shrimp should not be housed in aquariums with predatory fish that might attack these small shrimp.
Although very hardy, it requires a slow acclimation process to avoid any salinity and/or pH shock. Like other invertebrates, the Sexy Anemone Shrimp cannot tolerate high nitrate or copper levels. To promote proper molting, sufficient iodine levels must be maintained.
Liveaquaria.
