The CUC don't need direct feeding, unless you have too many of them...

The Clowns like to eat, at least once a day for general maintenance purposes. For breeding and optimal health, two to three feedings (not too heavy ) a day. If in good shape and well fed, they will go a week without being fed, but not has a routine thing each and every week of the year.

I feed my fish once a day. I definitely wouldn't go a week, unless there were mitigating circumstances as Bill indicated. As for "eating stuff in the tank", I've never seen my clowns picking off the rocks, but I'm never starved them before.

My fish, including my two clownfish, get fed twice a day. In the morning they get pellets and flake food and in the evening its a mixture of PE Mysis and San Francisco Bay Marine Cuisine. I couldn't imagine feeding my fish once a week. Hardly seems like they could get proper nutrition from eating once a week.

I feed my oc clown pair a small pinch of flake in the morning and then 1/2 a cube of brine in the evening. The extra brine that is not eaten is picked up later by the cuc or the creepy crawlies that come out at night.

My clownfish pair get fed with everyone else 5 times a day. 4 small pellet feedings throughout the day and one frozen feeding in the afternoon.

My clarkii's that are currently in the sump get pellets once a day until they move over to their dedicated 28.

You might want to considering supplementing the brine shrimp with something more nutritious. Brine shrimp have the nutritional value of a bag of potato chips. It is definitely not a long term food source.

I try to feed my clowns three times a day. A few pellets in the am before I leave for work, once again when I arrive home from work and once again shortly before I go to bed.

The more frequent and smaller the times you can feed, the better, especially for a smaller tank

Example? I've just got a pair a few days ago and they love the brine, what else should I be feeding them?

Clowns are typically hogs and will eat just about anything. I feed all my fish LRS Reef Frenzy, PE Mysis and CyclopEeze. Unfortunately, you can't guy CyclopEeze anymore.
