Tank in front of window
Anyone try placing their tank in front of a window? I know about algae concerns. Wondering if I could rely on natural light more than LEDs and maybe use a 5% blind during the day? Any other thought?

Temperature control will be a major consideration.

Not deliberate but I had a 65 that was partially lit by direct sun on a seasonal basis. The mushrooms that were lit did great. This tank needed a chiller 12 months a year so no idea on the differential as to that.
