A brush with death? Does anybody know?

My yellow tang is dying i think. No apparent reasons(parameters are fine). He's at the bottom resting on a rock. I took a look with a mag glass, and no leasions, the convict tang and him had been frisky lately, showing OFF, but at one point he turned and i was able to see his other side. Clear , no scar, or leasion either, good color too. He look exhausted. Could it be fight exhaustion?? This morning he was fine and ate, good stamina. I Did some feeding dose my supplement as usual, the only thing i added was iron since it was at 0.0ppm and it was the ordinary dosage like usual.

Nope he's upside down now (3h later), my theory now is he might of been cornered by the clowns and hit the nem with his belly, see how high her mantel was this morning ....he was too active this morning to come down so fast , to be symptomatic , and environmental....all the other fish seem fine, The only thing i don't know is; does a brush with a nem's mantel leaves traces or scars on a fish, or if its even possible that a fish can escape that.

How long have you had the tang?

If I read correctly, only one side of the tang is pale and one looks ok?

I'm blaming the nem.

Yep me too he's a goner upside down now. He's been there since the beginning 5 months ago. very healthy and fat. Very active this morning.( I use big font for my friends who use their phones) , and since he was eating very well too , no other exterior agent, all the other fishes are fine, no punctures, scrapings, slashes, parameters fine. Dam. i had the nem for 2 months now , she has double in size but i just got the clowns, they do bring food to it, they, may have pushed and coerced the tang in that direction.

I thik carpet nems belong in a species-only tank. I want one badly, except I like my fish better.

I love the big font it's awesome on my phone I don't have to magnify to read it. I agree on carpet nems should be in a species tank. I had a small one that ate a copper band and a dwarf lion. My friend has a gig that ate a moorish idol a fox face and possibly a lion fish also.
