pond pump ? for home depot
I seen a 800 and 1200 pond pump at home depot that looks just like my mag7. I called the manufacturer and asked if there's is mag propelled, They said yes. Any opinions on these pumps?

Did you happen to ask them if they were rated for saltwater use?

needs a ceramic shaft or titanium, some non-corrosive shaft, none of the HD pumps have that, so no they are not rated for salt water.

Had one of those pumps on my 100 gal turtle pond for about 2 weeks before the impeller split and turned to shrapnel
