Water Change Question
Do you guys do your water changes based on display volume or system volume? I've always done it based on the display because the sump was never large enough to matter. My new set up however, has a 110 gal sump and 62 gal display. I've been doing 20 gal water changes but its a huge pain! Thanks for the input

By the way, I have a pretty heavy bio-load with heavy feeding. Anthias need constant feeding but the fuge (55 gal) goes crazy

It doesn't matter since people do a wide range of changes anyway, but most folks are referring to total system volume when they discuss % water changes.

Cut back your water changes but do them more frequently if a large one is a pain
