Flame and Long-Nose Butterfly?
I picked up a pair of Flames from DD about a week ago. But I still want to add a Long Nose Butterfly, likely a Tahitian Butterfly and a Tang...
So, kind of missed the part about the Flames being one of the last fish to add. ![]() How much time do you think I have till they dominate, or do you think they already have? I'd like to wait till DD gets in a Long Nose, but, they just have not been coming up for the past few weeks. Might just have to go with Live Aquaria "standard"...

Not sure it will be a problem. If it is, just trap the flame and put him in a time out in the sump.

I'm OK with Med to Large fish, so I'm hoping that the fact they will be bigger (butterfly) is a plus... and I would assume a tang could hold their own. - The Flames are not bothing the clowns, gobys or chromis ...

Congrats on the pair! They are beautiful.
My flame picks on my bicolor anthias to the point where the poor guy stays hidden most of the day, but he's smaller. I'd say that it would be fine with the fish being added after being a bit bigger. |

Thanks GT350pwns, they seem to be doing great.. Moving all over the tank now. They are kissing my SPS a little but so far it doesn't seem damaging...

IMHO ... DONT ADD anything to upset the Flame applecart. So I suggest not adding the tang. Long nose bf should be ok. Plenty of other choices

Flame and Long-Nose Butterfly?
I'm kind of ok with not getting a tang... Other suggestions welcome. But the LNB is a must keep. I miss my old guy so much from the old system...
