Adding critters?
Ok I have all dead rock and right now cycling. I am going bare bottom but I do have a sump with fuge area. My question is I have been looking at IPSF and Garf do add some critters. I have been looking at garf with the bag-o-bugs or the refugium pkg kit for 10 gallons. Any experiences? I like the price for the Garf kit seems like a good price. I also looked at garf with the bag-o-bugs but i think that kit comes with that so maybe better to get the kit.

Hey some macro algae from a local reefer. It should be filled with bugs.

I second pife's suggestions. You can order the garf stuff but I think it's more for tanks with a sand bed. I think they oversell their products claims a bit too. The way they say it they are the end all be all of critters. If that was the case I would think more people would use them. Some macro and maybe a scoop of sand from a local reefer or a scoop of sludge out of your lfs live rock tank will manage much of the same thing. Either way, even with garf, you have a chance of introducing pests.
