Lightning Effects-Kessil LED's

Hi all!
Just purchase a set of KEssil 360's to go with my APEX control system. I wanted to know if there's a way to create lightining. The normal programming of the contrlloer is pretty straight forward. Just wondering if anyone has experimented with this effect.

Just curious why you'd want that. Seems like it would scare the crap out of the fish. Just because it's replicating a natural event doesn't mean the natural event is desirable.

Not sure if it is possible, but I know when I had the feature with my AI's every time I did it the fish freaked out and the corals would close up a bit. After a few times of showing off I never used it again.

The Ecotech and AI lights have "thunderstorms" as an option for simulation. The desire for it probably comes from that

I'm aware of that, but why is that a desirable feature? If I want to scare my fish, I'll just bang on the glass like an 8 year old.

The desire is from the competing lights offering the feature. I don't think anybody views it as anything valuable beyond aesthetics. I think you're being a bit dramatic about scaring the fish though. Thunderstorms are something fish have evolved to deal with. Having a giant alien pound on glass and create vibrations is not something they have evolved to deal with.
