Which bio-pallet reactor would you guys recommend?

I have a 100 gallon system. I would like to run my bio-pallets of the main return pump. The pump that I have right now is Jebao dc6000.

I have Reef Octopus recirculating bio pellet and if I were to do it again I would have purchased the Reef Dynamics recirculating unit. I hate hindsight.

There are plenty out there and all will basically do the same thing.. pick a size/form factor/price point you are comfortable with and just go for it.
I ran them in a TLF phosban 150 reactor without any problems.. But just made my own reactor a few weeks ago (just because) and am now running that.

ReefToys release several different reactors. Not much information available and they are very expensive, several forums and YouTube has more information on them.

I use the Aquamaxx pellet reactor. Excellent tumbling action.

JNS Alpha 2, tumbles great. Pump that come with it is underneath so takes no more room in sump. Turn it on and forget it, no finicky adjustments.

Check out Aqualund, you'll have to email the guy. Decent design, output flow nozzle is adjustable like the Reef Dynamics one.

Overall, decent price difference vs others. It does what I need it to do, it's a nice and solid design as well.

(I would suggest 3/8" input/output hoses though vs 1/4", I prefer prefilters )

I have the Aqualund. Whatever you do get a recirc model so you can control effluent like this one or the Reef Dynamics.
I'm happy with this one but sometimes wish I had spent more for the Reef Dynamics.
Mainly for the lid. It takes me forever to get all these thumbscrews off. Reef Dynamics has a lid that's threaded. For the money though the aqualund will treat you right.

You might send Steve a message, he's switched the design to a pretty slick 'quickscrew' lid system. Might be able to adjust yours? (can't say since I have only seen the pics from the site; mine came with the new quickscrew system)

Hey dude yeah I changed the lid design a few months back. I can cut you a deal on getting you a new one at cost that has the fancy new lids on it.

I just checked your website to see what new lids look like. Where is a picture of it? Can you post it here? Thanks in advance.

Appreciate the offer.
Can you pm me the cost?

Mine has a tube coming out the top of the lid. I don't see that on the new one on the website photos.
