Do I have a problem....aefw?
New frag. It was dipped (revive) before I added it and I haven't seen anything like that on other corals...

Considering its a tri-color, I would guess those are red bug bites. Either way a bayer dip will kill them if they are still on there.
FWIW I just had to deal with this myself and revive did nothing to kill them.

I'd do a Bayer dip ASAP.
Good luck, Mike |

A Bayer dip will kill the live ones on your corals but does nothing for the eggs. Inspect each frag and remove the eggs. I dip every coral that makes its way into my tank but I always remove the plug that it's on.

To me it is. I use nothing but Bayer.

+1 for Bayer!
Did my first Bayer dip tonight on an acro frag I picked up at frag swap. Whatdya know, dead red bugs! I'm very pleased with this product/method. However, I momentarily forgot how toxic this stuff is and stirred the water with my finger. Bad move. Will wear gloves from now on. To the OP, that looks a lot like AEFW bites but I can't be positive. |
