What to do with this algae

I have this type of algae growing on my MP10 and was wondering should I just leave it be since it doesn't appear to be growing anywhere else, or try and move it to my sump and establish a refugium. I was hesitant to move it bc the last time I tried the refugium, All my chaeto would just die off despite having two LED lights that were good enough to grow red slime cyanobacteria. I'm also surprised anything is growing since i have two bags of chemi-pure elite and figured they would be enough to pull out whatever phosphates are in the water.

It looks like Bryopsis.

I would just give the MP10 a good cleaning and be done with it. Even though it's no where else in your tank, it's just something you really don't want to have in your tank to begin with. GL.

Bring up your mag level to 1600 using Kent Tech-M and that will get rid of it

Probably don't need to say this but don't try to remove this algae in the tank. Pull the power head out. If that algae gets going in your tank it can turn into a nightmare trying to get rid of it.

I would lose the mesh filter pads on your MP-10, unless you're prepared to clean them once or 2x a day. I used one for 2 days on my MP-40, and it reduced the flow by about 90%.

Ditto on immediately removing and flushing the algae on the mesh before it infests your tank.
