Getting Bulkhead oOf
I purchased a 75 gal off of CL a few months ago and have found the bulkhead is siliconed on. I cant twist it off. Anybody have other Ideas besides throwing the tank away. Would surly appreciate it.

Try some tooth floss or thin wire to cut through the silicone. You could also try using an air compressor with compressed air to blow between the bulkhead and the glass. That may just break the seal. A razor blade an another alternative. Last resort would be a dremel to cut it apart bit by bit or grind the bulkhead down until there is nothing left. You could also try to carefully pry it up with a screw driver but that is risky. If you can get the tip of the blade under the bulkhead, the silicone may just let loose. I think I'd first try the razor blade though and maybe set the tank so that the bulkhead is supporting it that way there is constant pressure pushing the bulkhead out while you run the blade behind it.

I like the wire idea that would be safe and probably get the job done
