Live Rock - to Cure or not to Cure

I have a piece of LR weight approx. 4 kg.

This piece of LR has been dipped in Freshwater overnight, left dried overnight, poured Sodawater and being left dried again overnight.

I have other LRs in my DT weight approx. 20 kg.

Tank is 55 gallon (250 litre approx).

Do I:
  1. Shoot this 4 kg of LR straight to DT ?
  2. or do I cure it again separately in a bucket?

Friend of mine suggested to shoot it straight to DT because 4 kg is nothing in comparison to the other 20 kg of rocks in 250 litre of water.

make sure it is not leaking ammonia or anything before putting it in. unless you want to mess up your tank.

If you bought "live" rock, why did you do all that to it?

+1

If it was actually live, you just killed everything on it, so you need to cure it to avoid an ammonia spike in your tank from all the die off. If it was dry rock then you should be fine to add it to your tank.
