Help with tank

Tank is about 4 months old. Water levels check 3 times a week all is well. Any idea on this algae growing on my rock. It also grows on the sand as well. Any way to prevent this or get what you can see has covered the rocks off with out removing the rock because my hammer head coral is attached to it. Thanks!

Diatoms. A good CUC should take care of that in no time

No quick way to getting rid of anything/ w/out bleach. Diatoms, brown algae is part of a natural reef system. It will not harm your corals--really.
Let it cycle out, give it a few months, and something else will annoy you more.

you can try blowing it off the rocks with a powerhead or turkey baster when you do your water changes, or try to siphon it out as well.

basically what the others said though. it will pass with time and good husbandry. this is one of those things like green hair algae that pretty much everyone experiences with their younger tanks. eventually coraline will cover up the rocks and make it more difficult for the pesky stuff to get a toe hold.
