Apex Expansion
I'm wanting to add the dosing add on to my apex the problem i am running into is my apex is located at the tank to run heaters and lights. my sump in 40ft away in my basement where the doser would go.
my question is how far can I extend the connection cables on the apex system? can i used standard usb cables to extend it? thanks. |

I use a 40 or 50' Aqua bus cable to connect my apex to an EB8 in the garage. Here is a source for a 50' one. You need a male USB A to male USB A cable.

Why don't you dose into your overflow? Keep everything together, and by the time it reaches back to your tank, it's very well mixed.
