Substrate
We are upgrading out tank from a 30g to a 93g and the girlfriend wants to change the substrate. We currently have the standard white crushed coral substrate and she wants to change to a black substrate. Any thoughts (pros/cons of black vs white, texture, etc.) or recommendations? Thank you.

I used Black Tahitian Moon Sand by Carib Sea in a cichlid tank for years and was very happy with it. When I set up my next reef tank I will more than likely go back to it, I liked it that much.

I don't have any experience with black sand myself, but I have heard a lot of hobbyists say that the black substrate really makes the detritus stand out. (eyesore)
