AquaMedic Ecodrift 4.0

hi, i am planning to add a power head to my tank and was wondering what you guy think about the aquamedic ecodrift's. currently i have a vortech mp10w don't want one more. and as far as jabeo goes those pumps are cheap but have mix reviews. For the price $98 buck delivered to me I think ecodrifts are good option, plus one year warranty from Aquamedic (USA company who I can call and talk to live person). And I know the seller on ebay who sell these pumps is a great seller and stands behind his product. They have four models i am looking to get smallest guy. below is the link to the pump you can see the picture it looks very small which is good.

I did some more reading and I'm pretty interested now. The controller is the same but the pump construction is supposed to be better/quieter. I'll have to try one soon.

I currently have a WP25 and a WP10 from Jebao.

Thanks for the heads up.

so far haven't seen any negative comment, I think i will pull a trigger in couple days. for $98 buck i think it is a fair price and it small in size.

The Ecodrift can be used as a wavemaker, I am not seeing where the Jabeo pumps can.

From what I've read about them is these are made in Germany whereas the Jebaos are made in China. But who copied from who?

Any pump that can be put in a pulse mode will make waves. I have 2 in my tank and the surface definitely has a wave motion on the surface as well as gyres in the column.
