+1. Yeah I got one just like it. I used to have dozens, then I got two peppermint shrimp. Now I have one or two growing at a time. -The shrimp will not eat all of them and cultivates it for future snacking. -Clever. . .
Have fun!

For Aiptasia, flamethrowers usually do the trick. Lol jk, I had a huge one and was able to kill it by mixing kalk powder with a little bit of tank water so it is really thick and using a turkey baster to squirt it on him and in his hole. Other people have had success with injecting them with boiling water or lemon juice but it could also make them mad... Just what ever you do, don't touch it with your hands because if you break him or leave any in the tank you will have dozens (or hundreds) of babies growing.

It looks like it's on your sand bed. Can you just scoop that sand out with the apptasia?

I would like that option, i just wasnt sure if it had some kind of defense mechanism like splitting or some other weird thing that would end up having 100's later on lol

Yes it reproduces by pedal laceration so don't physically remove it. Whatever is left behind will grow into multiple aiptasia. The best way is what a previous poster mentioned kalk paste administered with a needle with no water movement in the tank.

+1

You can also try to siphon it out. Once you do remove it, you can always throw the sand back in the tank.
