Baby trochus snails?

So recently in my sump I found a small trochus snail about 1/4" in size. I moved it back into the DT. I have 6 trochus snails that I put into my tank as part of the cuc.

I have found several small critters in the sump and a few in the DT that are roundish and somewhat conical though mostly white at this point. I did catch one of the snails broadcast spawning one morning a week or so ago.

Here are a few pics

This was the one spawning.

It's kind of hard to tell, but they look more like Limpets to me. Can you get a clearer shot of them?

I agree there are some that are definitely limpets but some like the one on the return nozzle have defined color banding going on plus the one that is now dime sized for sure are snails. Lights are out now but I will try some better shots tomorrow with my other camera and not my phone.

You won't be mistaken if the were baby trochus snails. So far I've found two in my sump and they look exactly like the adults, only cleaner. I was surprised to see them since I use a sock filter. The second one I found when I removed my skimmer's cup and saw it inside the neck.

I have the same snails and they spawn regularly. The baby's look just like the adults, they are great snails the best IMO.

+1..... Totally agree. I originally started with 5, now six months later I have like 25 baby snails cleaning the tank. Luckily my QT is lacking some cleaners, so I will move a few downstairs.
