Please help me identify this

Please help me identify this stringy algae and how can I get rid of this? My tank is running for 6 months. It is the IM Nuvo fusion 40 gallon. I have the original pump and added 2 Jaebo WP10 for more flow. I thought that would help. I just bought the IM ghost skimmer and started running that a week ago. I run chemipure blue and purigen. I notice it on the sand bed, on the sides of the glass and stuck on my corals. I have done water changes. I can't seem to get rid of this stuff!

looks like dinoflagellates..

edit...
huh.. err.. wait.. did you switch the pictures??
first post looks like it may be cyano..
second is looks like the dinos.

and it helps to post any water test results you have done.. nitrates/ph/phosphates/cal/alk,etc...?

but its fairly normal to experience one or both or diatoms,etc... with a new tank like yours. you may just need to give it time

I posted two pictures. One of the sand bed and the other of the a coral. What can I do? Is it cyano or dinoflagellates? From what I read I am so confused. Do I do water changes, or not? Is this normal and do I need to wait it out, or is there something else I should be doing

if it is dinoflagellates this is what it says I do
Starving it out - Increase skimming, use a phosban reactor, or a macro like chaeto to take down nutrients. Some people have had success treating "dinos" by raising their ph and alk, but if you do so, do it with caution.

What do you suggest I do first?
