Acclimation Mode - How does it work?

Can anyone explain how the Acclimation mode works?

I see that when you set it it drops the intensity, but after your week or X number of weeks you set it to acclimate, does it just go back up to the set intensity?… or does it gradually ramp itself up from starting date to ending date until it reaches the set intensity. So in other words you only have to set it once and let it go (as long as you don't add more corals). Does anyone know?

I wish there were better instructions with this awesome light.

Also, what are the recommended acclimation procedures? Is one week enough?

Thank you.

The radios gradually ramps itself up over the acclimation period that you specify until it hits the intensity level that you have defined. You can look at your graph to see how far from the peak intensity your light is by observing the line that is below your peak line. Acclimation is over once the line meets the other line. You can also hover your mouse over the acclimation icon to see where you are in the acclimation period. It will tell you how many days have passed along the the intensity percentage. I hope that makes sense.

I don't see where it shows you how many days passed and intensity etc… I'm on a Mac, you think that is why?

I use a Mac as well. The icon is on the left below the chart. It's a purple circle with a symbol that looks like a downward point arrow.

Fish,

If you select the "Program Aquarium" button this will reset your acclimation back to day 1.
