Coral QT

Am setting up a QT tank for new corals and was wondering how long to quarantine corals. There is a small chance they could be carrying ich if they come from a source where fish are kept with coral, right? Or a LFS where there is constant cross contamination. This must mean coral needs to be quarantined for 72 days, correct?
But no one does this. What do you guys do?
